Two Niles students have been selected as the 2017 Community Student Art Award winners.
Eastside Connections student Max Miliken and Ring Lardner student Logan Kohler were chosen as winners.
The students each received a $50 scholarship to put towards an art class.
Scott Morgan, the art teacher at Ring Lardner Middle School said he was proud of the Niles district students who entered the competition.
“We have some very talented students,” Morgan said. “It is a great honor to have their artwork selected and put on display for all the community to see.”
The students’ artwork will be on display through April 29 at the Box Factory for the Arts, located at 1101 Broad Street, in St. Joseph.
The art gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
