Burger, fries and laughs will be on the menu at Round Oak Revisited next month, when the restaurant teams up with the Beckwith Theatre Company improv troupe for a comedy night fundraiser.
The restaurant and theater group will “Raise the Roof” during the event, which will take place beginning at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 23, at the eatery, located at 137 S. Front St., Dowagiac. Tickets to the fundraiser cost $20, which includes admission and dinner.
Doors open at 4 p.m, with dinner served until 6 p.m. An adult comedy performance by the improv group will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Visitors will be served a 1/3-pound flame-grilled burger and French fries. Patrons can request a veggie burger instead.
Proceeds from the event will go toward paying for a new roof for the theater group’s playhouse, located at 100 New York Ave., Dowagiac. Theater leaders expect the work to cost around $25,000.
The fundraiser is open to people 21 years or older.
Tickets to the event are limited. People can purchase them in advance at the Round Oak Revisited or by calling (269) 782-8882.
