Lois Roberta McConnell passed away April 25 while visiting Tucson, Ariz.
Memorial services and a celebration of her life will be held Monday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles. The service will include a time when friends and family may share memories.
A graveside service will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens at 3 p.m. (Indiana time). The Rev. Emmett H. Kadwell Jr., pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church in Niles, will lead both services. Niles friends wishing to attend the cemetery service who do not drive may contact Halbritter Funeral Home at 683-3000 to arrange for transportation. (Buffet refreshments will be available following the services.)
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to a program giving children warm clothing for the winter or to the children's program at the Niles Community Library, especially for use to benefit poor children.
