Boys basketball roundup: Dowagiac falls to Wildcats, Cass beat Vikings

THREE RIVERS — The Dowagiac boys basketball team dropped to 2-7 overall with a 64-58 Wolverine Conference South Division loss to host Three Rivers Friday night.
The Chieftains trailed early, caught the Wildcats at halftime and took a 49-47 lead into the final quarter.
Three Rivers (6-2) outscored Dowagiac 17-9 in the final eight minutes to win its fifth consecutive game.
Adrien Bucha-Moore led Dowagiac with 21 points, while D.J. Lanier added 14.
Jalen Heivilin led the Wildcats with 21 points.

Bronson at Cassopolis
The Cassopolis Rangers improved to 7-1 with a 72-65 victory over visiting Bronson in BCS Athletic Conference Blue Division action Friday night.
The Rangers (4-0 in the Blue Division) led 40-24 at halftime and then had to hold off a second half charge by the Vikings.
Shane Los had 18 points to lead Cassopolis, which also got 16 points from Tyrese Hunt-Thompson.
