Lee J. Barker, 72, of Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, in his home.
He was born Oct. 5, 1944, in LaPorte, Indiana, to the late Robert and Beverly (Real) Barker.
Lee was the owner of Lee Signs Supply in Niles.

He is survived by one daughter, Tamara (Steve) Fuller of Niles; one son, Todd (Jennie) Barker of Granger, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Branden (Karianne) Edwards, Brittany (Josh) Ritchie, Christian (Janeal) Fuller, Zachary Fuller and Brett, Katherine, Luke and Sarah Barker; and five great-grandchildren, Bailey, Tyler, Aleah, Sophiah and Elijah.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Geoffry Barker, and one great-granddaughter, Adleigh.
Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2017, at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, Indiana. At the conclusion of the visitation, those who wish to say a few words in remembrance are welcomed by the family to share memories of Lee with them.
Lee was proud of his business, Lee Signs Supply. He enjoyed golfing and hanging out at The Blue Lantern and Pete’s Patio.
