NILES - Brandywine's boys' cross country team walked away winners of Monday afternoon's meet against Bridgman and Edwardsburg.
The Bobcat's defeated the Eddies, 27-19, and took a 28-29 win over the Bees.
Brian Wieger led the Bobcats and took second place overall with a time of 18:30.
Tyler Weedon was next to finish for Brandywine with a time of 20:03, Dan DeVos finished with a time of 20:37, Cameron Roth posted a time of 21:46 and Tom Buzzard finished with a time of 25:10.
Edwardsburg's Mike Peninger was the overall winner with a time of 18:17.
The girls' team was defeated by Bridgman, which was the only team with a full squad, 18-43 and lost 22-23 to Edwardsburg in modified scoring.
Ashley Harrell and Sarah DeVos were the only two runners for Brandywine's team, as other teammates were out due to injuries.
Harrell posted a time of 23:44, while DeVos finished with a time of 25:50.
Bridgman's Jessica Forker was the overall winner with a time of 22:15.
Brandywine will travel to Sturgis this Saturday for the Kiwanis Invitational set to begin at 10 a.m.
