The Bodek and Rhodes distribution center in Niles will close before the end of the year, leaving nearly 100 employees without work.
The apparel distribution center located at 2121 W. Chicago Road will close permanently on Sept. 30, according to a Workforce Adjustment Retraining and Notification Act (WARN) filed with the state May 27.
As a result of the closing, the WARN document said layoffs are expected to begin on or around Aug. 1 and continue on a rolling basis until the facility is closed.
All 92 employees at the facility will be affected.
