The Dowagiac Spring Sports and Scholarship Award night was held Thursday in the high school gymnasium.

Besides individual sports awards and scholarship, a trio of Chieftain athletes received the annual All-Sports Award.

Seniors Alyssa Allen, Mickie Kiggins and DeYonte Sullivan were honored with the award.

Receiving $500 Athletic Booster Club Golf Outing Scholarships were Allen, Mitch Warsko, Nijah Russell, Zach Davis, Kelsey Smith, Lazaro Piedra, Josh Lamphere, Sullivan, Marissa Dodd and Brittany Malin.

Picking up $750 Athletic Booster Club Scholarships were Anne Zebell, Reid Adams, Kiggs and Heather Olson.

Kiggins also received the Dick Dorgan Scholarship, while Brandon Winchester-Jones was award the inaugural Scott Lawler Scholarship.
