Niles senior Sheldon Mudd has signed a national letter of intent to continue his academic and collegiate soccer career at Adrian College.

Mudd was pleased several aspects of Adrian.

“I liked the atmosphere of Adrian, as well as how friendly the coaches and people are,” he said.

Mudd will play center-back for the Bulldogs.

“I also looked at Rochester (Michigan), Wayne State, Central Michigan and Oakland University,” Mudd said.

The Bulldogs are a Division 3 school that competes in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

Adrian was 6-11-2 last season and 5-8-1 in the MIAA standings, which was good for fifth place.
