Big first half leads to easy win for Wildcats

Visiting Three Rivers outscored Dowagiac 41-4 in the first half on its way to an easy 51-10 Wolverine Conference South girls basketball victory Friday night.
The Wildcats (7-4, 3-1 South) led 31-0 before Dowagiac finally got on the scoreboard in the second quarter.
Three Rivers scored the first four points of the second half to start the running clock for the remainder of the third and fourth quarters.
Krishana Carter led the Wildcats with a game-high 15 points, Julia Majdan finished with 12 points.
The Chieftains (0-10, 0-4 South) was led by Amiyah Smith’s seven points.
