Employees of Chemical Bank spent Columbus Day (Monday) volunteering on a variety of different projects throughout Michigan, including in Berrien and Cass counties.

More than 2,200 Chemical bankers partnered with local organizations to work on over 230 projects ranging from helping to beautify city parks and schools, to spending time at senior centers, leading financial lessons in classrooms in addition to a variety of other activities.

In Niles, several Chemical bank employees spent the day beautifying the grounds at Eastside Connections School in Niles and boxing up books for donation to Better World Books at the Niles District Library.

These are just a few of the many community activities that Chemical Bank worked on across the state on this day.
