ALLEGAN — Isaiah Miller rushed for 152 yards and four touchdowns as visiting Edwardsburg defeated Allegan 49-0 in its season and Wolverine Conference opener Thursday night.

The Eddies rushed for 521 yards in the contest, including 107 yards and two touchdowns by Damion Pompey.

Miller scored on runs of nine, 29, 12 and 67 yards, while Pompey’s touchdown runs were for 13 and 49 yards.

Tyler Treat was 5-for-five in extra points.

Edwardsburg (1-0) attempted just one pass in the contest.

Allegan (0-1) finished with 211 yards in total offense, including 132 yards on the ground.
