Steven Dickey, 73, of Niles, passed away Saturday, Aug. 22, 201,5 at his home.

He was born Sept. 27, 1941, to the late Sammie and Emma Dickey in Tennessee. On June 1, 1997, Steven married Janet Churchman at a ceremony in Livonia, Michigan.

Steven earned his associates degree and worked as an electrician at a tool and dye plant. He enjoyed spending his free time on his Harley or fixing things around the house.

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patsy Harper.

Steven is survived by his; wife, Janet Dickey; daughters, Tina Patten, of Wyoming and Angelia Proffitt, of Indiana; sister, Yvonne (Gene) Dexter, of Tennessee, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Steven, may do so to the American Heart Association.

Funeral services will be held at Brown Funeral Home, on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2015 at 3 O’clock in the evening, with visitation starting two hours prior.
