Best of the Best shows great community involvement

Late last week, a list of readers’ favorite businesses was released as part of our annual Best of the Best contest.
Businesses in a wide range of categories were recognized for outstanding service to their customers and employees in a variety of ways. Businesses topped lists ranging from best boss to best place to people watch, favorite ice cream cone to favorite restaurant in each community and more.
The outstanding response we received both from the businesses vying for the various titles, and from the community members who frequent these businesses, shows just how dedicated the people who live in Michiana are to local commerce.
We always support local spending, and the drive to support local businesses with events like Small Business Saturday and downtown shopping days seem to really be making an impact on the people who live here.
More importantly though, businesses like those recognized by our voters in the Best of the Best contest continue to offer excellent customer service, enjoyable products and services and stellar employment opportunities, which makes all the difference in attracting customers.
So, we’d like to thank not only the business owners who make Michiana a great place to live, but the residents of the region for their dedication to our communities.
You truly are the best of the best.
