Stacy Denise Mure, 37, of Niles, Michigan died on Sunday, July 19, 2015, unexpectedly. She was born Feb. 26, 1978 in South Bend to Michael “Mick” and Judy (Fox) Mure.

Stacy graduated from Brandywine High School in 1997 and continued her education, earning an associate degree from Southwest Michigan College and then her bachelor and masters degrees in social work from Western Michigan University. Stacy loved being a mother to her son Alec. She enjoyed shopping and visiting the beach.

Stacy is survived by her son, Alec Stump; fiancé Marc Stump of South Bend; parents, Mick and Judy Mure of Niles, a brother, Chad (Kerry Gleason) Mure of Niles and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

The memorial mass for Stacy Denise Mure will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2015, at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Niles by the Rev. Alphonse Savarimuthu, MSFS of the parish. Burial will take place privately at Calvary Cemetery, Niles.

The family will receive relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 23, 2015, at the Halbritter Funeral Home in Niles.

Donations in memory of Stacy may be made to Saint Mary Catholic Church in Niles.
