Customers at the Rural King store in Niles will be able to buy a green 4-H bucket to benefit the Berrien County 4-H program through Saturday, July 25.

For every bucket sold, $1 will be donated to the local 4-H program and customers will also benefit, saving 10 percent on anything they can fit inside the bucket.

“It’s a great opportunity for community members to support 4-H while also saving money themselves,” said Elaine McKee, Berrien County 4-H program coordinator. “We’re so grateful to Rural King for supporting our local 4-H program with this promotion. The funds generated will benefit more than 1,600 youth who participate in 4-H in our community.”

In addition to the shop in Niles, Rural King has stores in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia. Various stores in these states will also be running the 4-H promotional campaign during the same timeframe. During the two-week campaign, Rural King hopes to generate more than $50,000 for local 4-H programs.
