The Dowagiac Lions Club wishes to thank the hundreds of individual contributors and our corporate sponsors for a successful 2015 “White Cane” campaign.

The money that was raised will allow the Lions to continue to provide assistance to Dowagiac citizens who need help with their vision and hearing needs and to support Leader Dogs for the Blind and the Michigan Eye Bank.

Thanks go to Lion Ron Behnke who coordinated the children’s poster contest and Lion Lyle Taylor and his wife Patsy, who mailed letters and paid for the postage. Lions Ron Behnke, Ron Ganger, Ron Jones, Bob Longway, John Rice, Bruce Springsteen, Lyle Taylor and Lion to be Amanda Verity who  “Hit the Street” to collect funds on June 4, 5, and 6.

Our corporate sponsors were: Ausra Equipment and Supply, Beeson Street Bar and Grill, Dowagiac Federal Credit Union, Hales True Value Hardware, Imperial Furniture, Judd Lumber Company and Rental Center, and Skibbe Business and Tax Service.
