Crime of the Week: Rash of stolen vehicles

The crime of the week comes from the files of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
Within the past week and a half, there have been two stolen automobiles and two attempted stolen automobiles in the Galien Village and Galien Township areas.
The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department has responded to these complaints and has determined that the suspects are stealing older model vehicles from residences during the overnight hours.
Crime Stoppers wants the person or persons responsible for these auto thefts and will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to their arrest. Crime Stoppers also pays cash rewards on other felony crimes and the capture of fugitives.
