WATERVLIET — Brandywine ended its regular season at 18-11 after sweeping Watervliet in a non-conference doubleheader Thursday.

In the first game, Hannah Hadden got credit for the win striking out three and not walking a batter.

The Bobcats were lead at the plate by Morgan Crocker, who was 4-of-55 with a home run and six RBI. Ayralynn Lasane hit her first home run of the season and 3-of-5 with four RBI. Freshman Grace Polomcak’s first varsity hit was a two-run homer in the sixth inning.

In the nightcap, Crocker got credit for the victory as she gave up four hits and one run in four innings of work. Kelly Harper led the offense batting 3-of-4 with three RBI.

Brandywine will travel to Bridgman Tuesday to face Berrien Springs in its Division 3 pre-district game. The Bobcats swept Berrien Springs during the season 12-1 and 19-1 back in April.
