Brandywine heads into BCS tournament undefeated

NEW BUFFALO — Visiting Brandywine wrapped up the BCS Athletic Conference regular season undefeated by blanking New Buffalo 8-0 Monday.
The Bobcats, 13-0 overall, are 5-0 in BCS competition heading into Saturday’s league tournament, which Brandywine is hosting at Plym Park and Niles High School.
The Bobcats will also at the No. 1 seeds at all eight flights at the conference finals.
Against the Bison, Brandywine captured all three of the contested doubles flights 6-0 and 6-0. New Buffalo forfeited at No. 4 doubles.
The Bobcats also blanked the Bison at No. 3 and No. 4 singles with Shaylee Smith and Emily Erwin.
