New Buffalo holds off Brandywine

NEW BUFFALO — Visiting Brandywine was outscored 18-12 in the fourth quarter as New Buffalo held on for a 63-57 BCS Athletic Conference West Division victory Friday night.
The Bobcats (9-5, 2-5 West) and Bison (9-4, 5-1 West) were deadlocked at 45-45 after three quarters.
Brandywine had to rally from an early deficit to knot the score heading to the final quarter.
The Bobcats got off to a slow and trailed the Bison 16-8 after one quarter and 29-24 at the half.
Andrew Boocher scored a game-high 22 points for Brandywine, which also got 11 points from Andrew Duckett.
Jarek Hotwagner had 22 points to lead New Buffalo. Elisha Dryden and Marques Artz finished with 14 and 12 resepctively.
