NILES - A reminder to community members, you can help out the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass by participating in the Bowl for Kids Sake fundraising event.
Whether your a non-bowler who can't quite reach 100, a casual bowler or a professional, your participation in Bowl For Kids Sake helps the agency to keep its program going.
Bowl for Kids' Sake will take place on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept 25 at Joey Armadillo's (formerly Schula's) in Niles. There are still lanes available.
Each team consists of four to five people. Everyone who signs up gets a sponsor sheet, collection envelope, and then it's just a matter of getting sponsors.
Friends, family and local businesses an sponsor your bowling. They may pledge any amount they wish.
Teams will be able to bowl from 9 to 11 a.m. or 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24 and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Big Brothers Big Sisters plays an important part in the lives of the children they mentor.
You can help more children form the friendship of a Big through your support of Bowl for Kids Sake.
Bowl for Kids Sake is the agency's biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds raised from the bowl-a-thon are used to support local volunteer recruitment efforts and provide profession staff to screen the adult volunteers before they are matched with children and who monitor the progress of matched once they are made.
