Local merchants have been hard at work planning a free bridal show showcasing several Niles businesses. The Simply Radiant Bridal Event is the first of its kind to come to Niles since 2009, and will be hosted in the Bell Building in Niles this Sunday.

“I’ve always dreamed of creating a bridal show in Niles, and to help build enthusiasm around what Niles’ small businesses have to offer for those planning, or helping to plan one of many people’s most important day of their life,” said Cynthia Gallero, owner of Katheros Catering.

Gallero approached Marie Brown, owner of Sentiments Bridal in downtown Niles, who used to plan a Niles Wedding Walk. The last wedding walk in Niles was held in 2009, but the new Simply Radiant Bridal Event will be bigger and better than ever.

“I am excited to showcase my selection of bridal gowns and mother of the bride gowns. People come from all over, including Goshen and Michigan City to see the selection of formal wear we have available. We need this event to show what this city has to offer,” Brown said.

Gallero’s enthusiasm spread to attract over 30 local vendors that provide bridal wear, floral, photography, décor, hair and nails, gifts, travel, production and more.

Attendees will have several opportunities to win prizes, and secure discounts of up to $3,000 in savings.
