Hood receives honrable mention All-State

After leading his team to another outstanding season, Brandywine girls basketball coach Josh Hood was named honorable mention Class C Coach of the Year by the Associated Press.
Hood led Brandywine to a 20-1 season.
New Buffalo ended the Bobcats’ quest for a sixth straight district championship in the championship game. The Bison’s Jade Madison, who helped lead New Buffalo to its first title in 12 years, was named first team All-State in Class C.
In Class B, sisters Kalabrya and Kysre Gondrezick were named All-State for the second straight year.
Kalabrya a junior and Kysre, a sophomore, led Benton Harbor to the regional title before falling to Parchment.
Lakeshore’s Lauren Clem was an honorable mention pick in Class B.
