Brandywine snaps streak with big third quarter

A 20-point third quarter helped the Brandywine boys basketball team snap a three-game losing streak Monday night.
The Bobcats (4-9) led visiting River Valley 26-20 at halftime, but exploded for 20 points in the third quarter to break the game open.
Leading 48-25 heading the final quarter, Brandywine cruised to a 61-34 non-conference victory over the Mustangs.
Andrew Boocher led a balanced Bobcat scoring attack with a game-high 16 points. Seth Brown finished with 12 points and Zach Schmidt 10.
Gabe Zeigler had nine points to lead River Valley.
