Chieftain girls drop to 3-10

BERRIEN SPRINGS — The Dowagiac girls basketball team dropped to 3-10 on the season following a 54-43 Wolverine Conference West Division loss to host Berrien Springs Monday night.
The Chieftains (1-5 West) were outscored 28-20 in the second half. Dowagiac trailed the Shamrocks just 26-23 at halftime.
Crieona Rodgers scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Chieftains, who also got nine points from Rayven Brown.
Jesse Farraht led a trio of Berrien Springs players in double figures with 16.
