Buchanan golf team remains undefeated

NILES - Buchanan's varsity golf team picked up back-to-back wins Wednesday and Thursday to keep them undefeated so far this season.
The Bucks stand 1-0 in dual meets and 4-0 in match play.
On Wednesday, Buchanan traveled to New Buffalo to face the Bison at Grand Beach Golf Course where it took a 182-185 win.
Matt Adams shot a 42 for Buchanan to lead his Bucks.
Andrew Colip shot a 44, Brian Lembke a 46, Jeremy Bachman a 50, Adam Houin a 51 and Matt Stover a 58.
New Buffalo's Eric Zavesky and Paul Schmidt both shot 44s.
On Thursday, Buchanan traveled to Pipestone Creek in Eau Claire where it met with the Beavers, Watervliet and Bridgman.
The Bucks had a total team score of 144, followed by the Panthers with a 154, the Bees with a 163 and Eau Claire with a 186.
Colip again lead his team with a 34, but Adams wasn't far behind with a 35.
Lembke shot a 37, Houin a 38, Bachman a 41 and Jordan Woodrick a 42.
Buchanan's JV team will travel to Berrien Springs on Monday, with varsity competing at Edwardsburg on Tuesday.
