Michael Starrett, 27, of Jerome Street, Niles, died at his home early Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2005.
His family will gather with friends on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2005, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Groner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Dowagiac, where his funeral will be held at 1 p.m. that day, led by Father Joseph W. Koma of St. Marks Catholic Church, Niles. Elder Clarence White will perform a traditional Potawatomi piping ceremony at Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Sister Lakes at 2 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the burial.
