• Saturday: Sarett will lead a snowshoe hike at Saugatuck Dunes at 12:30 p.m. Bring snacks, a drink, snowshoes (rentals available) and dress appropriately. The $7 fee ($5 for Sarett members) includes transportation from the center.

• Sunday: Dog mushers Dennis Waite and Bill Schnell will present the sport of dog sledding at 2 p.m. If there is snow, dogs will give an outdoor demonstration. The cost is $5 per person ($2 for Sarett members).

• Jan. 28: Join Sarett naturalists for a cross-country ski on 12 miles of trails at Muskegon State Park. The $17 fee includes transportation from Sarett and Muskegon’s trail fee.
