NILES - Amber Peters, a recent graduate of Niles High School,. was recently named to the Division 2 All-State Honorable Mention list compiled by the Michigan High School Soccer Coaches Association.
Peters also received honors in the Big 16 Conference All Division West Division first team, All-District Selection, Academic All-Conference and All-State Academic lists.
Peters will be attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College in the fall where she will play basketball for the Cougars.
Peters is a All-State BCAM Honorable Mention and was an All-Division Big 16 conference selection three times during her basketball career with Niles.
