Arthur and Marcy Charbonneau, of Vandalia, celebrated the 50th anniversary of their wedding on Sept. 1, 1962.

Friends and family attended Mass and a renewal of their marriage vows Sept. 16 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Afterward, 63 guests joined in celebrating with a banquet meal and dancing at Four Lake Country Club in Edwardsburg.

Arthur is retired from Tyler Refrigeration. Marcy is retired from Clark Equipment.

Their children include Ray (Martha) Royan, of Lakeland, Fla., and Cheryl (David) Whiteman, of Port Charlotte, Fla. Their grandchildren are Lisa, Mark, David and Kristin. They also have five great-grandchildren.
