NILES — Faustine E. Snooks, 90, of Greenwood, Ind., formerly of Coloma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, at Rosegate Nursing Home, following an extended illness.

A homemaker most of life, Faustine was a gifted artist and enjoyed growing flowers.

In keeping with Faustine’s wishes, she will be laid to rest next to her husband on Tuesday, Aug. 16 — their 70th wedding anniversary — at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma.

A memorial service to celebrate Faustine’s life will be Sunday, Aug. 21, at 3 p.m. at Smith Valley United Methodist Church, 5293 Old Smith Valley Road, Greenwood, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made in Faustine’s memory to her church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles.
