Vikings get win over Coldwater

NILES - Niles' varsity baseball team picked up a 4-0 non-divisional win over Coldwater Tuesday afternoon to add another win to its record.
The Vikes, now 14-2 overall, 5-0 in the SWMAC, played tough on both sides of the field.
Matt Richardson was able to claim the win against Coldwater's Josh Krenzalek.
Niles got some powerfull hitting from Josh Henry, who went 2-for-3 with a double.
Rick Storm went 2-for-2 with a double, Steve Clanton went 1-for-3 with a double and Cory Coquillard went 2-for-4 with a double.
The Vikings will host Paw Paw on Thursday. Game time is set for 5 p.m. at Thomas Stadium.
Niles JV baseball gets win
Niles' JV baseball team also picked up an 8-3 win at Coldwater Tuesday afternoon.
The Vikes will travel to Paw Paw on Friday night.
