Katy Sutton of Niles and Darren Smith of Niles announce their engagement and forthcoming

wedding.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Brenda Cain and Phil Sutton. Her grandparents are the late Helen and Howard Sutton of Buchanan. Katy is a 1996 Niles High School graduate. She also graduated from Southwestern Michigan College with a journalism degree.
The groom-to-be is the son of Mary Hemphill Smith and David Smith of Niles. His grandparents are Doris and Clayton Hemphill of Niles. Darren is a 1992 Niles High School graduate. He also graduated from Western Michigan University with an art degree. He works at Patterson Logistics.
The couple will be married Oct. 6, 2012. Invitations will be sent.
