Subera granted regular status on SMC faculty

DOWAGIAC -- Joyce Subera, of Cassopolis, a member of the Southwestern Michigan College (SMC) part-time faculty, has been granted Regular Adjunct Faculty status, according to Dr. Diane Chaddock, SMC executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Subera is an instructor in the developmental studies department, teaching courses in reading and writing.
She also instructs children's literature.
To be eligible for this classification, part-time faculty members must have completed at least three years of continuous service while teaching a minimum of 16 credit hours or 20 contact hours per academic year of two semesters.
They must also be recommended for this classification by their department head and/or dean based upon contributions made to the college.
