Cass upset by Colon

WHITE PIGEON - Erik Allen's basket with 13 seconds left here Thursday night lifted Colon to a 56-55 upset victory over Cassopolis in the Class C District Basketball Tournament semifinals.
The Rangers came in as a huge favorite against the 2-17 Magi, however, another slow start doomed Cassopolis.
The Rangers were unable to overcome a similar start to Tuesday night's game against Marcellus, a contest Cassopolis won 64-59 in overtime.
Dan Stanage gave the Rangers a 55-54 lead with 34 seconds left, however, Allen delivered the magical victory for Colon 21 seconds later.
Kevin Luckey led the Rangers with 17 points, while Neal Bullocks added 10 and Will Loux eight. Stanage finished with seven.
John Salter led Colon with 12 points, while Allen finished with 11.
Colon faces White Pigeon Saturday night in the championship game.
