There will be a half-day of school on Thursday and Friday for all students attending Brandywine Community Schools.

The Middle and Senior High School students (grades 7-11) will dismiss at 10:50 a.m.; Brandywine Elementary students (grades 3-6) will dismiss at 12:05 p.m.; Merritt Elementary students (grades K-2) will dismiss at 11:50 a.m. Contact your building principal with any questions.

Beginning June 11, the administration office will be operating on a “summer hours” schedule.

The central office will be open Mondays through Thursdays, 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon. Normal business hours will return Aug. 27.

Merritt and Brandywine Elementary Schools will be open through June 29 and will reopen Aug. 1.

Office hours for June will be 8:30 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Brandywine Middle/Senior High School summer hours, which begin June 11, are Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., closed on Fridays.

Normal business hours return on Aug. 27.
