To the editor:

Well, here I am again. Now I have had a birthday and I am 78 years old. Also, my great-grandson is now 13 years old and having the same problems.

School will be out soon and the I&P people and teachers are bound to send him to Blossomland school, which is about 30 miles from home. He doesn’t want to go there and I am sure it would be difficult for him to sit still that long on the bus.

There are several people I have called for some help or an answer to our problem, but they don’t return my call. They had this planned long ago. It is supposed to be a “School of Choice,” but they tell you what you are going to do. Is this America or some other country?

I still think Brandywine should have a special education class for kids with disabilities to attend. I am sure they could get one if they wanted to, but it’s easier to send them somewhere else.

Oak Manor would take him, but they only have their picks! The selected children went to Oak Manor to see where they would go next year; he didn’t get to go. I received a letter to fill out, but they must have made a mistake in sending it to me.
