RICHLAND – It didn’t take long for Sturgis to get on the board in the Division 2 Regional Baseball Tournament semifinal.

The Trojans scored a run in the top half of the first inning to take a 1-0 lead on Niles.

Joseph Lioy singled and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt. With two outs, Connor Render singled to drive in the run.

The Vikings tried to rally in the bottom of the first, but despite having runners at second and third with no outs, Niles was unable to score at Chance Stewart worked out of them jam.
