EDWARDSBURG — It took a shootout to decide the Eddies Invitational Soccer Tournament Saturday afternoon.

Host Edwardsburg reached the finals with a 5-0 victory over Comstock, while Marcellus blanked Three Rivers 8-0.

In the finals, the Wildcats defeated the Eddies 3-0 on penalty kicks in the shootout.

The championship match was tied at 0-0 at the end of regulation.

Comstock defeated Wolverine Conference foe Three Rivers in the consolation match 7-1.
