Jessica Marie Starr, 26, of Elkhart, Ind. was taken away from us on Monday, Aug. 8, 2011.

She was born Nov. 20, 1984 in Dowagiac to Francis Starr, Jr. and Maria (McCreary) Sobieralski.

Jessica graduated from Ross Beatty High School in Cassopolis in 2002. She later attended Brown Mackie College, graduating in 2007 with an associate degree in paralegal studies. She was employed by Dometic and K-Mart of Elkhart.

Surviving are her loving father, Francis “Frank” Starr, Jr., Vandalia; mother, Maria (McCreary) Sobieralski, Cassopolis; brother and sister-in-law, Francis “Frank” and Barbie (Hartsell) Starr III, Niles; only nephew, Adam Starr; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends gathered on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. at Penn Friends Community Church, 19107 Quaker Street, Cassopolis.
