Victor L. Scott, 79, of Edwardsburg, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his home after an illness.

He was born Jan 23, 1932 in Decatur, the son of Leroy and Francis (Gallmore) Scott. He has lived in the area since 1957, coming from Grant, Mich.

He was married Nov. 14, 1952 to A. June Baker, who passed away in 2002. Three sons survive him: Allen (Jill), James (Sandy), and David and companion, Robert. There are 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He has two siblings, Eva (Benny) Barahas and Leroy (Leota) Scott.

Cremation has taken place.

The interment will be in the near future at Seaman Cemetery in Bailey, Mich. Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, Edwardsburg.
