BERRIEN SPRINGS — Visiting Edwardsburg remained undefeated Tuesday night with a 54-25 win over Berrien Springs in Lakeland Conference girls’ basketball action.

The Eddies (4-0, 3-0 Lakeland) outscored the Shamrocks 18-4 in the first quarter and were never behind after that.

Edwardsburg and Berrien Springs both scored 12 points in the third quarter giving the Eddies a 30-16 advantage at halftime. Edwardsburg took a 42-23 lead into the final period.

Rachel Vite netted 15 to lead all scorers. Edwardsburg also got 14 points from Mariah Murphy and eight points each from Emily Kozinski and Sarah D’Amico.

Koby Gillespie led Berrien Springs with 13. She was the lone Shamrock to reach double figures.
