The Edwardsburg volleyball team was defeated by visiting Mishawaka (Ind.) Marian on Tuesday 25-15, 25-8 and 25-11.

Emily Kozinski had four kills, two blocks and three digs for the Eddies, who also got 20 digs from Ally McIntee.

Emily Getz finished with 11 assists, seven digs and a pair of blocks.

Marian also won the junior varsity contest 25-18 and 25-16, as well as the freshmen match, 25-11 and 25-11.

Edwardsburg vs. Sturgis

The Edwardsburg volleyball team defeated Sturgis 25-20, 25-22, 24-26 and 25-20 in a non-conference match.

The Eddies also won the freshmen and JV matches.

Emily Kozinski had 27 kills, five blocks, 19 digs and a block for Edwardsburg, which also got 24 assists, two blocks, three aces and 24 digs.

Ally McIntee added 50 digs and a pair of aces. Paige Mueller finished the night with six kills, 20 digs and two aces.

Bronnie Tafunai had 19 digs and an ace for the Edies, who are now 8-5-2.
