Edwardsburg Public Schools has announced important information pertaining to the 2010-2011 school year.

Students in grades 1-12 will report for a full day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

Parents and kindergarten children should attend their orientation session based on the schedule below, also on Sept. 7. The first full day of school for kindergarten students will be Sept. 8.

Schedule for Sept. 7:

• Kindergarten orientation at Edwardsburg Primary School

— All day kindergarten, 9 to 10 a.m.

— Looping, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

— Multi-age kindergarten, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.

• Edwardsburg Primary School — (kindergarten and first grades) Begin at 8:30 a.m. with dismissal at 3:45 p.m.

• Eagle Lake Elementary School — (Grades 2 and 3) Begin at 8:25 a.m. with dismissal at 3:25 p.m.

• Edwardsburg Intermediate School — (Grades 4 and 5) Begin at 8:30 a.m. with dismissal at 3:45 p.m.

• Edwardsburg Middle School — (Grades 6 and 8) Begin at 7:30 a.m. with dismissal at 2:21 p.m.

• Edwardsburg High School — (Grades 9-12) Begin at 7:30 am. with dismissal at 2:24 p.m.

All school buildings will be closed on Friday, Sept. 3 and Monday, Sept. 6.
