The Edwardsburg Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for its annual Memorial Day Festival.

The chamber is currently accepting applications for vendors for the festival, which will follow the traditional Memorial Day parade.

“Immediately after the parade is over with we have the festival which is in Gun Park,” said Theresa Kraus, goodwill ambassador.

Gun Park is located off the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 and Church Street.
“That’s where the main activity is,” she said.

The last date for registration is May 13.

The application provides a signup for those interested in participating in the festival in one of four primary categories including: community service, food and/or drinks, crafts, art and activities or games and rides.

“We have all kinds of vendors,” Kraus said. “We usually have a really good turnout, but of course the weather plays a big part in it.”

She estimated anywhere between 30 and 50 vendors take part in the festival.

Members of the chamber really begin working toward pulling everything together around January, Kraus said.
