Defending champs knock off Eddies

BRIDGMAN – The defending Lakeland Conference champion Bridgman boys’ basketball team isn’ t about to give up its crown without a fight.

The Bees improved to 4-1 with a 46-27 win over Edwardsburg Tuesday night.

Bridgman is now 4-1 in the league and 9-2 overall. The Eddies drop to 3-3 in conference action and 7-3 on the season.

Bridgman led 17-6 after one quarter of play and 25-13 at halftime.

Cameron Reeves led the Bees with 17 points.

Edwardsburg got eight points from Kyle Dale and seven points from Jake Harroff.
