Clark R. Neitzel
Air Force Master Sgt. Clark R. Neitzel competed in and completed the Boston Marathon, Mass. He finished the 26.2-mile race in three hours 27 minutes.
Neitzel is a command aircrew training manager assigned to Headquarters Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base, Belleville, Ill. The master sergeant has served in the military for 23 years.
He is the son of Rolf Neitzel of Brentwood Drive, Battle Creek, Mich., and Dina Whittington of Timberline Trace N., Granger, Ind.
Neitzel graduated in 1980 from Ross Beatty High School, Cassopolis, Mich., and received a bachelor's degree in 2004 from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. He earned a master's degree in 2007 from Touro University, Los Alamitos, Calif.
