Though Brandywine has lost by some large margins, the Bobcats still have a shot at a respectable conference record this season.
Brandywine has lost six games by a combined score of 277-24. In their two victories, however, the Bobcats have averaged more than 27 points a game.
In their final game of the season, the 'Cats travel to Edwardsburg, who is 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the Lakeland Conference. Should Brandywine pull out a victory, it would finish the year 3-6 overall and 3-4 in the conference.
The Bobcats can look to last week's game against Coloma for inspiration. Brandywine played the 6-2 Comets tough, although the score doesn't reflect it.
The 'Cats were down 21-6, threatening to score in the third quarter before Coloma took away their momentum. From there, the Comets reeled of 20 straight points to make it a 41-6 final.
Despite the lopsided score, head coach Terry Borr said his team played just about as well as they could against a more powerful Coloma squad. He looks for the same effort Friday against the Eddies.
The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m.
