Dowagiac’s Brett Lesniak recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Defiance College in Ohio.

Lesniak will compete for a spot on the offensive line.

“We are very proud of these young men and their commitment to Dowagiac Chieftain Football,” Dowagiac coach Mike Stanger said.

“We hope they take advantage of the this opportunity to gain a college education and enjoy playing football at the collegiate level.

“By doing well at these colleges, they can open the door for future Chieftains to have the same opportunities. We want to wish our players good luck next year at the college level.”
